The Jaffna Home - an exhibition at the Colombo Art Biennale 2012

One of a series of twenty pictures I am showing at the Colombo Art Biennale 2012.


The exhibition is on view at the National Gallery on Ananda Coomaraswamy Mawatha.


The prints were made for me by Sebastian Posingis on a heavy rag paper using archival inks.

The daughter had just watched her father fulfill a vow. He had rolled in the sand around the perimeter of the temple wall. They both seemed relived when it was over.
