Yemen. My kind of skyscraper!

San'a', has to be one of the finest cities in the world. The architecture is bliss.
Architecture without architects...

Yemen. Father & Son. San'a'.

The Yemen. Small cafe in the old city of San'a'.
A fine country, I long to go back. Some of the nicest and most hospitable people I have ever met, and yes, the architecture is a dream.

Yemen. Children at village of Bait Baus.

Bait Baus is a village on the crest of a hill. A few miles out of the City of San'a', this beautifully built & well located collection of houses is now nearly totally abandoned. A few familes still live there. If you would like to see more Yemeni photographs, please check www.threeblindmen.com for more pictures of this village and more.

Yemen. Looking towards Dar al Hajar in Wadi Dhar.

Just back from twelve days spent with some of the friendliest people I have ever met. The Yemeni stop you if you walk by when they are eating and will practically insist you join them in a meal. Fine people, fine country. This picture is looking down at the Summer Palace called Dar al Hajar in Wadi Dhar. Early morning, I got their for sunrise over this beautiful valley.
