Basil Pao. It was great to see an old friend back in town. Basil's work is extraordinary. He brought with him his new book HANDS as well as the dummy copy of a work still in production; his book on China. Believe me, it's a treat. Basil , as photographer, has accompanied his friend Michael Palin on many of his journeys, the most recent being 'Inside Himalaya' .
